1.2.1: General Role

• Each member should contributes the highest commitment to the group project of ATW 223 with the theme of “Innovating operations from social responsibility lenses”.
  
• Each member should do their best and works as a team so that the project will be succeed.
• Each member should work with full dedicated and ethical, helps each other so that the project will be successful.

1.2.2: Specific Role

Types of Roles	Work Desciption
Manager Shamsul Azri bin Mohd Radzi	Distributing duties, organizing meeting, monitoring work of the members and to make sure the project be completing before the dateline.
Editor Ngu Siew Ling	Checking, updating, editing the text and arranging the work sheets of the project in a systematic order.
Creative Manager Liew Chin Fen	Contributing creative and innovative ideas so that the project output looks neat, interesting and create a blog form and digital poster for easy reading.
Solution-Based Idea Manager Teoh Hwooi Fen	Suggesting new finishing or improvement of the project by giving relevant and critical suggestions.

1.3: PLAN FOR COMPONENT 1,2 & 3

The topic that we choose to complete this project is environmentally-free packaging materials. In the report, we will touch the thing that we have been done and the thing that we going to do. We have been done a literature review to find out the packaging materials trend. Next, we will help a company which has been apply this trend to improve its product and services quality. Finally, we will post all the information about this topic in web blog to share our find with everyone

Acknowledgment

This project gave us a wide view of ‘environmental free packaging materials’ that we were not familiar with. In the beginning, we were confused and blurred with environmental free packaging materials’ but after discussing between our group members we were roughly knew about it. After reading articles about environmental free packaging materials, we knew it more deeply although we felt very hard to find articles through newspapers and magazines.

There were some things that we can’t forget in completing this project. For example, we really felt uneasy in finding the articles that suitable for environmental free packaging materials. We used more than one week to do that. Then, were busy to ask others friends about the project as we afraid that we had done in the wrong ways and we are not willing to redo what we already completed. Nevertheless we also need to redo it as there were some things that we miss understood.

Beside that, we also learnt to be more independence and tolerance. There were a lot of things we have to do in this project. Although it is not an individual work but every members were responsible to finish their parts. We were not depending to the members that were more ‘superior’ but try our best to hand up our works on time. There were sure that we learnt to be more tolerance as our ideas were not similar most the times. Therefore we tried to listen and voiced out our ideas to others without hurting each others feelings.

Other than that, we learnt to be more creative. This project required us to create a blog that most of our members were not familiar with. Fortunately, we were successfully overcome this problem. We really try our best to decorate our blog to make it more attractive and sharp. Actually we felt unhappy when coach required us to create a blog. Nevertheless we knew that it can bring lots of benefits to us as we definitely will be more confident and different from others that are just hand up paper’s work.

Finally, we want to thank coach as she gave us opportunity to learn more. She proved to us that operations management is such an interesting subject and not a subject that teaching in a bored way. Then, we realized that there are not just one way to do a project. There are some new ways that we really have to try. We really felt very happy after finishing this project. It brought us such a big satisfaction after we succeed to complete it.
